ENTRY CONDITIONS The Via Flaminia Tour is a classic event open for cars build before 1974; cars from Italian make are preferred but not a necessity. On an indvidual case exceptions might be made since the organisation prefers a good atmosphere with sympathetic drivers to a field with only Italian thoroughbreds. The cars must be well prepared for the event, which will cover up to 1.500 kilometres in Italy alone. Roads will sometimes be steep and certainly have many curves. Brakes must be without a flaw and braking fluid should not be older than one year *). All cars must be insured for third party liability and comply with all regulation on roadworthiness. *) A combination of altitude and heat may cause the water, which accumulates in old braking fluid to boil and cause loss of braking capacity. |
